| The AHLA, on behalf of our membership, provided a submission to Minister Joseph Schow requesting the Tourism Levy be fully allocated to Travel Alberta in order to achieve the government’s goal of doubling tourism revenue. The dedication of the Tourism Levy to Travel Alberta is an existing mechanism, supported by industry that generates the level of investment necessary to achieve the government’s ambitious goal of doubling tourism revenues to $20 billion by 2035. |
